Verbal consent
When a patient schedules by phone, staff read the same terms aloud before entering the number: what the message contains, that it is about one message per visit, that message and data rates may apply, that the patient can reply STOP to stop or HELP for help or call (877) 215-7246, where the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy are found, and that consent is not a condition of care. The patient's yes or no answer is recorded on the registration form.
How a number is entered
Mobile numbers are entered only by practice staff, through an internal passcode-protected tool at triumphorthospine.com/staff. There is no public web form and no online sign-up for these messages.
